About me

Hi, my name is Phillip Kemkes. I'm working as a research and development engineer for G DATA CyberDefense AG in Bochum. I focus on working with threat intelligence data, trying to detect malicious behaviour with both very simple and highly complex methods.

I finished my Master's degree in IT security at Ruhr-University Bochum in 2022 with a focus on network, web and systems security.

My main interests are obviously all things relating infosec. But I also love to program in general and teaching others. I enjoy coding challanges just as well as CTFs. I am always keen to learn about new concepts and ideas.
